Owned and Operated by Eddie Reinsma since the opening day in 1989!

R&S Automotive was opened in 1989 by Eddie and Michelle Reinsma.  At that time Eddie, 23 years old, had been working in the automotive field for over 7 years.  From the age of 15, Eddie worked toward his ambitious dream of starting his own business in automotive repair.  Their first day in business was a great success!  Brand new customers from all over the Santa Clarita Valley came to wish Eddie well with his new two-man shop.  Due to popularity and demand, their small shop expanded to an eight bay facility with a large crew of ASE Certified technicians, including 2 Master Technicians, expert service writing staff, full time shuttle service driver, and office staff.  In business now for 22 years, R&S Automotive is one of the most reputable repair facilities in the Santa Clarita Valley.  They also have gone on to realize their dreams of building a fifteenth bay facility in to house R&S Automotive exclusively with the introduction of their new drive through Quick Lube.  Eddie and Michelle are the proud parents of two beautiful children and are proud to call Santa Clarita their home.

We’ve been here in the Santa Clarita Valley since we started in 1989.  We have customers from all over the Santa Clarita Valley including the communities of Newhall, Valencia, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch, Castaic, Canyon Country, and Mint Canyon.

Approved Auto Repair: We are proud to be one of the Approved Auto Repair shops.  Fewer than 5% of shops or dealerships ever become approved and the approval process is very difficult.  Being approved means that they have thoroughly checked our shop to ensure we are a reputable and qualified auto repair shop that will service their members with care and expertise.

Our Capabilities

We have a very large independent auto repair facility here in Newhall that provides the full coverage of auto repair and maintenance services.  We have 15 service bays at our 9,000 square foot building.  This includes Quickies Lube Center which provides you with fast service for you routine maintenance services like oil changes, fluid exchanges and tire installations.
